The Lake County Board of DD/Deepwood, met with Scott Frisbie, a Lake County resident, to get his perspective on National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Down Syndrome Awareness Month (both observed in October).

Thank you Scott for spending time with us and for all you do to advocate in our community! And a special shout out to businesses, such as Giant Eagle in Madison, Ohio, who recognize the abilities of all workers.

 

During National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we’d like to spotlight Matt Herman and gain his insights on the job he likes most of all — sports commentary and doing play-by-play for local sporting events (some of which are for the Broadmoor Bobcats basketball, Miracle League, and Perry Public Schools).
